The safety of our community has always been our highest priority. Over the past several months, we’ve seen an increase in fraudulent registrations and abuse attempts from individuals using VPNs, proxy servers, relay services, and other methods designed to hide their real identity and location.
To help protect our members, we have upgraded our security systems.
These changes are not directed at legitimate members. They’re intended to make it much more difficult for scammers, fake accounts, ban evaders, and other bad actors to gain access to the community.
Unfortunately, we’ve seen repeated abuse from individuals attempting to conceal their identities while using the site for fraudulent or other harmful purposes. Rather than allowing these users to continue disrupting the community, we’ve chosen to strengthen our defenses.
We understand that some members use VPNs for privacy, and we appreciate your understanding. Temporarily disabling your VPN or relay service during registration is a small step that helps us maintain a safer environment for everyone.
Our goal is simple: provide a trusted community where genuine members can interact without constantly dealing with scammers, fake profiles, and other undesirable activity.
